The DS-KV7023EY-IME2 is a 1-subscriberVilla type door station designed for the 2-Wire HD system (EY series), which allows power and bi-directional signal transmission using two wires of cable. The device is designed for installations in single-family homes, combining aesthetic design with the functionality of an access control and video intercom system. The station is equipped with a colour camera with a resolution of 2 Mpix (1920 × 1080) and a viewing angle of 135° (H) / 85° (V). A built-in infrared illuminator provides illumination of the scene in night conditions. An integrated transponder reader in the Mifare standard (13.56 MHz) allows doors to be opened using cards or key fobs. A built-in numeric keypad allows access via PIN code. A built-in microphone and loudspeaker provide two-way voice communication. The station has two control outputs, one voltage output to operate the electric door opener and one relay output, e.g. to control the entrance gate. The built-in Wi-Fi module enables configuration in AP (Access Point) mode, and when Wi-Fi-enabled monitors are used, the system can be operated remotely using the Hik-Connect app. The door station must be connected to the DS-KAD7060EY G74828 distributor to enable it to be powered and communicate with other devices in the system. It is also possible to power it using 12 V DC. The IP65 rated housing and IK08 mechanical resistance provide protection against weather and mechanical damage.

System 2-Wire HD (EY series)
2-Wire HD video intercom system from the EY series is an excellent solution for upgrading an old intercom or video intercom system that uses twisted pair, paired or straight cable as the communication bus. In this system, communication and powering of devices such as door stations or monitors is done using DS-KAD7060EY G74828 and DS-KAD7061EY G74830 distributors. This is a Plug & Play system, which, once the devices are properly addressed and configured using the switches on their backsides and powered up, the whole thing starts working. Additional configuration is possible through the door station using AP (Access Point) mode. Remote operation of the system via the Hik-Connect application is possible, when using indoor monitors with WiFi interface.

Access from mobile devices
Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used to remotely view live video from DVR, NVR, IP cameras, door entry systems using Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G networks and also to view recorded videos. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application allows connectivity via IP addresses and via P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.
