The tap is used in multiswitch installations to extend the bus into four subnetworks. The bus, carrying signals from one Quatro LNB, consists of four SAT cables, plus the fifth carrying terrestrial TV signals. The tap is equipped with DC-transition switch that in "ON" position runs current through "H" paths to both branches. In "OFF" position it is possible only within one path.
Main features:
- 5 paths (4 x SAT + terrestrial TV)
- used within installations with multiswitches making use of subnetwork partition - divides the bus into four subnetworks
- replaces 5 individual quadruple TV/SAT taps
- equipped with optionally switched-on DC-transition
