The included accessories
Line distribution amplifier DA-140 is a completely new device in the line of Terra broadband amplifiers dedicated for cable networks. It is designed for CATV networks with return channel. The device can be used in most demanding networks due to extremely high parameters and application of switches used in place of potentiometers to configure individual settings. It guarantees the stability of the parameters over time. The amplifier has active return path with modular concept allowing for adjustment of its parameters by using appropriate plug-ins. The band of the return channel can reach 200 MHz. The upper band limit of the forward path can be changed by a single switch (862/1002 MHz).
The DA-140 amplifier is equipped with main gain switch in the forward path, 31 dB or 40 dB. If needed, other switches allow for further reduction of the gain.
The amplifier is powered from AC power network (187...250 VAC). The optional version (DA-140D) with 24...65 VAC remote power supplying is available on request. The DA-140 amplifier is equipped with one input and one output (PG-11).
Changes of all the settings can be performed without interruption of services to subscribers.

- switchable upper band limit of the forward path (862/1002 MHz),
- switchable gain of the forward path (31/40 dB),
- upper band limit of the return path up to 200 MHz,
- ingress blocking filter in the return path,
- equalizer at the input of the forward path,
- interstage equalizer between the first and second stage of the forward path,
- attenuator at the input of the forward path,
- attenuator between the first and second stage of the forward path,
- equalizer at the output of the return channel,
- attenuator at the output of the return channel,
- -20 dB input test point (bidirectional),
- -20 dB output test point (directional),
- over-current protection of the input and output.
