Elcad DS-2B A99050 is a cheap digital receiver for satellite TV channels broadcast in SD resolution. The receiver is intended to receive FTA channels and programs encrypted in CONAX. The front panel is equipped with a LED indicating the status of the receiver. The receiver has SCART connector and digital audio output (SPDIF). The ready-to-use channel list (TNK platform) can be modified by the user.
Its USB input with PVR/Timeshift functions is an exception among receivers in this price class. Other advantages include the small size of the device and 12 VDC power supply, which make it suitable for camping (using an appropriate adapter).
