The WS-6908 meter enables the user to quickly setup satellite dishes and LNBs. With the built-in satellite receiver, the user can view on its screen specific FTA channels and assess their quality. At the design stage it helps to select the equipment (dish, LNBs, amplifiers, multiswitches) and, during implementation, to verify the choice and align the dish and LNB(s).
The WS-6908 model is the successor to WS-6906. The changes include a new, even more user-friendly menu, and implementation of bir error rate (BER) measurements. The new software allows for displaying the results of quality, BER, and other measurements on the whole screen. Additionally, the new model has a slightly more capacious battery.
The A/V inputs enable connection of CCTV cameras, making the device a very useful tool for installers of video surveillance systems. The installer can precisely set the focal length and focus of each camera and check the exposure settings.
