AWS-1030 can be used in individual and community antenna systems. Due to several individual inputs for FM, III, UHF1, UHF2, UHF3 there is no need to use antenna diplexer/multiplexer. The UHF1 and UHF3 inputs allow to provide power to additional antenna preamplifiers.
Three UHF inputs are the distinct advantage of the amplifier - they can be used in many applications, such as receiving of several programs from different directions, or combining signals from modulators (CCTV cameras, satellite receivers etc).
In the case of receiving programs from different directions and of different levels, use of typical diplexer may not guarantee proper results - it does not allow to equalize the levels. The amplifier solves such problem, allowing individul level adjustment in each UHF path.
The set includes regulated AC/DC adapter (12VDC/250mA output) with 3.5mm jack. The amplifier can be powered either locally (with the jack), or remotely, (via additional RF/DC separator AZS-03 C0397
) and the coax connected with the RF output. In the latter case the jack of the adapter should be connected to the separator. Such solution allows to place the amplifier e.g. in the attic, and power it from any room where we terminate the installation and plug in the AC/DC adapter. If we use in the installation additional splitter, it has to pass DC voltage (e.g. E2094
amplifiers are equipped with solid, cast metal housing, which protects them against external interferences.
The amplifiers are not prepared for operation in open space or wet places.
